service with the following functions:
- Provide a range of endocrine and metabolic tests and specialised
services in toxicology and industrial monitoring.
- Conduct research into disease and contribute to medical education.
Its specialised non-pathology services are value-added in
that profit is generated outside of the normal pathology re-imbursement
system. These services include pre-employment drug screening,
participating in drug trials, drug monitoring in prisons, assessing
exposure to toxins in industry, and commercialisation of faecal
blood testing in the early detection of bowel cancer.
