- Provide diagnostic and consultative services across the full range of anatomical pathology, including histopathology, cytology and autopsy pathology.
- Provide statewide services in tissue banking, neuropathology and bone pathology.
- Undertake basic and clinical research.
- Participate in undergraduate and post graduate medical education.
- Be involved in the organisation and administration of pathology within the IMVS, and at state, national and international levels.
