About Us

Established in 1938, IMVS Pathology is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a comprehensive range of bulk-billed diagnostic and associated clinical services. 

Our services are underpinned by a commitment to support local health initiatives, including being involved in medical and scientist training within South Australia, and maintaining world-class research facilities for the ongoing improvement of health care to the Australian community.

The revenue created by IMVS Pathology is also used to support our extensive network of services to regional South Australia.

This section includes details of our pathologists, who are supported by our dedicated and experienced management team.

As outlined in our history, IMVS Pathology has a long tradition of conducting world class medical research, and remains a hub for innovative science leading to breakthrough therapies.
