After Hours

IMVS Pathology is committed to patient care and clinician support, and therefore provides clinical support services to doctors who have patients with specialised or urgent care requirements after hours. 

Specialist pathologists are available for telephone consultation 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Our main switchboard and most metropolitan laboratories are also operational 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Please indicate contact numbers for both business hours and after hours on the request form, to ensure that urgent results can be phoned through as soon as they are available.  If the requesting clinician anticipates being unavailable, they also have a responsibility to nominate a delegate practitioner who can be contacted.
