IMVS Pathology's app is the first developed by an Australian pathology provider, and is available for iPhone and Android users.

Designed for both patients and clinicians, it puts the information you need right at your fingertips.  Using Google Maps, you can instantly find where the closest IMVS Pathology patient collection centre is located and how to get there.

Download the free IMVS Pathology smartphone app from iTunes or Android Market, or browse the application store for your smartphone and search for 'IMVS'.

The new app features:

• Locations

  With powerful map features, you’ll be able to find the nearest IMVS Pathology patient collection centre based on your current location.

  Each patient collection centre is displayed with opening hours, a site image, address and nearby parking instructions.

  
      

• Contacts

  Easily find contact details for key areas within  IMVS Pathology, which can be called or emailed directly from your smartphone.

• Direct website links

  Patients can quickly find how to prepare for pathology testing, and clinicians can easily access the IMVS Pathology Collection Guide and links to diagnostic assistance.

• Interactive game

  Path-o-logic is based on the high-tech processes used within IMVS Pathology laboratories. The objective is to guide samples to their correct analysing machine, by avoiding collisions on the conveyor belt and ensuring no samples are blown up by being sent to the wrong area.

  Match each coloured tray on the track machine with the same coloured analyser.  Hold down a sample then drag your finger along the path on the conveyor belt you want it to take.  Samples can be paused by tapping.
