As South Australia’s premier pathology provider, the IMVS is dedicated to supporting clinicians and health professionals in providing the highest level of patient care.

To achieve this, we offer an extensive array of diagnostic services including quality pathology testing, clinical consultation and advice, clinician-focussed newsletters and publications.

Secure results are available for clinicians via a number of options, including downloads to practice management software.

Clinician resources in this section also include our Pathology Collection Guide, displayed as both an A to Z listing and the Top 20 tests that often require special collection conditions or assistance. 

Diagnostic assistance for conditions or findings are also provided to assist clinicians with test selection and patient management.

Clinical consultation

IMVS pathologists and scientists are available to provide test interpretation and guidance to clinicians 24 hours a day, every day of the year. To access this service:
